This winter, Galerie Andrea Caratsch shows a selection of works by one of the most celebrated photographers of our times, Helmut Newton (1920-2000). Rooted in fashion photography, Newton’s voyeuristic imaginary is defined by an unmistakable blend of aestheticism, technical perfection and luxurious old-world decadence. Today - just as at the time of its creation - his work remains appealing, controversial, and ever thought-provoking.
